The product
Four real ChatGPT queries fire against your business in 60 seconds: a discovery query ('best plumbers in Luton'), a direct query ('tell me about your business'), a comparison query, and a buyer-intent query. We parse the verbatim response, score whether you were named, what position, what sentiment, and which competitors came up instead. Plus live diagnostic checks against Wikidata, your website's schema, and Bing visibility. Free. No credit card. No email needed to run it.
Scoring runs against OpenAI's gpt-4o (the model behind ChatGPT), temperature 0.2 for cross-run consistency. The 23-sheet workbook gives you the exact prompts to verify weekly across Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Bing Copilot yourself. Multi-engine scoring is on the roadmap.
Each audit is a point-in-time snapshot through the real gpt-4o API at temperature 0.2, the same answer your customers would see right now. Honest caveat: LLMs are non-deterministic, so the same business can score differently on two back-to-back runs. We have seen swings up to 15-20 points on businesses ChatGPT barely knows (where its answer is essentially a coin-flip). For the £499 service we run the audit 3 times on Day 0 and 3 times on Day 14 and take the median, which is the number written into your guarantee document. The free audit is one shot, which is fine for direction but should not be treated as a precise instrument.
Trust (we're new)
Asked launched in 2026. We're new. Our priority is being honest about that rather than fabricating reviews. If you bought today you'd be one of our earliest customers, which means you get more of Zaib's direct attention than anyone in 6 months will. As real customers come in and consent, we'll publish verified reviews with names, photos, and Trustpilot links.
Because we will not fake them. The illustrative examples on the home page are labelled 'paraphrased' and 'illustrative' on purpose. The day we have real customers willing to be named and linked, those go up. That day is coming, not yet.
Refund auto-runs via Stripe regardless of our state. Your data is your data, exportable at any time. The workbook is yours, the PDF is yours, every deliverable we ship lives in your accounts (your Bing Places, your Wikidata, your site) not ours.
Zaib does every £499 engagement personally, end to end. No outsourcing, no junior delegation, no AI agent pretending to be a human. That's a feature, not a bug, at this price point. If we scale beyond Zaib's capacity, we'll be transparent about it and the price will reflect it.
Honest comparison
Honestly, technically yes for 80% of the work. The methodology isn't secret. The £99 saves you 30 to 50 hours of research and writing (sequencing, schema templates, scripts, prompts, citation lists, NAP audit). The £499 saves you all of that plus the 14 days of actual execution. If you've got the time and patience, do it yourself.
Most £49 Fiverr gigs do generic directory submissions and call it AI SEO. Some are good. None tie a money-back guarantee to a measurable outcome. The £499 buys the specific 14-day playbook plus a refund tied to a 15-point score movement. If your gut says Fiverr is enough, try Fiverr first, then run our free audit to see if the score moved.
Those tools are excellent at Google Maps citation management. They don't touch ChatGPT browsing behaviour, Wikidata entries, Reddit presence, podcast transcript seeding, or LLM-specific schema markup like HowTo and FAQPage with full sameAs hubs. Different game. You can use both: us for the AI visibility layer, them for ongoing citation maintenance.
If you have a good one, do it. Most local SEO freelancers optimise for Google ranking, not for LLM citation. They'll add Yoast and submit to Yell. The work we do (Wikidata entity, Bing Places fully completed, six JSON-LD types, OpenStreetMap, sameAs hub) is genuinely different and most freelancers haven't shipped it.
Methodology
Score is 0 to 100 based on four signals from the four ChatGPT queries: named in discovery (20 pts), substantive info in direct query (15 pts), legitimate in comparison (15 pts), named for buyer intent (30 pts), top-3 list position bonus (20 pts). 75+ is Grade B (solid), 90+ is Grade A (dominant). It is our scoring metric, not a third-party benchmark, and we're transparent about that.
Not directly. Score equals AI visibility. Visibility leads to AI citations. AI citations lead to clicks. Clicks lead to leads. Leads lead to revenue. We refund on score because score is what we control. Revenue depends on your conversion rate, pricing, sales cycle, and dozens of other things we can't touch.
No. Anyone who guarantees lead counts to a stranger is lying. Lead volume varies enormously by industry, geography, starting position, and conversion infrastructure. What we can promise: the input (visibility) will move. Lead growth typically follows visibility on a 30 to 90 day curve once the work is live.
Same methodology, run against the new model. The structured signals we build (schema, Wikidata, Bing Places, citations) are model-agnostic. If GPT-5 changes the ranking signals materially, we update the methodology and the audit endpoint, and every existing customer gets a free re-audit to recalibrate.
We use AI for the audit (gpt-4o), prompt generation (gpt-4o-mini), and the workbook builder. The implementation work on the £499 service is done by Zaib personally. We're not running AI agents that claim to be humans in your inbox.
Does this apply to me?
Yes, per-location. Each location is its own audit (free) and its own £499 engagement, because Bing Places, Wikidata entries, and citation programmes are location-specific. Multi-location bundles available for 3+ locations, email us for pricing.
Partially. Schema, Bing, Wikidata, and content parts apply. Location-specific work (Bing Places, NAP, service-area pages) doesn't. We'll tell you honestly in onboarding whether you're a fit. Pure e-commerce stores with no physical presence usually aren't, and we'll refuse the engagement before taking your money.
In AI search, yes. AI assistants weight local entity authority (Wikidata, citations, reviews, schema) heavily, and most national chains don't bother optimising for local LLM visibility at the individual-branch level. Properly executed, a local plumber can outrank Pimlico for '[your city] emergency plumber' in ChatGPT Browse.
No. Earlier is better. Schema and Wikidata foundations laid now compound over time. ChatGPT's training data has a knowledge cutoff, so the sooner your business exists in structured sources, the sooner it appears in training data. Don't wait until you're 'ready'.
Yes, but slower. We won't make outcome claims that breach industry codes (no 'guaranteed outcomes' for medical, no 'tax savings of X' for accounting). The audit and schema work is the same. Book the founder call before paying so we can confirm the scope.
Yes. Asked works worldwide. The methodology is identical. We have specific directory lists for UK and US, and a universal list for everywhere else. Audit prompts auto-adapt to your country and city. Pricing displays in GBP or USD based on your IP, payment accepted from any country Stripe supports (160+).
Refunds & guarantee
Day 14 re-audit produces a score that's both: (a) less than 15 points above your Day 0 baseline AND (b) below Grade B (75/100). If either of those is met (movement of 15+ OR Grade B reached), the work is delivered. If neither, full £499 refund auto-runs to your original card within 5 working days. No forms, no escalation, no email needed.
We're new enough that we don't yet have a meaningful refund history to share. When we do, we'll publish refund rates honestly. The methodology is built so refunds shouldn't be common, but if they happen they happen.
It's a delivered digital product, so we don't routinely refund. That said, if you bought it and genuinely feel it doesn't deliver value, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right. We'd rather refund than have an unhappy customer.
Yes. We credit the £99 you already paid against the £499, so you pay the difference: £400. Email us with your original order number.
Because a 1-point movement is statistical noise, not a real win. 15 points means the customer feels the difference (named in 1-2 extra ChatGPT queries, citation showing in Perplexity, schema indexing in Bing). Typical real movement during the playbook is 25 to 40 points, so 15 is well below the realistic floor.
After the work
No subscription, no recurring fee, no lock-in. You own everything we deployed (your Bing Places listing, your Wikidata entry, your schema, your citation network). You get free quarterly re-audits for life as a customer, but that's it. Walk away whenever.
Usually means a competitor caught up or a platform changed. The free quarterly re-audit catches it. If it's drifted significantly, re-engagement is your call (we'd quote based on what needs redoing, usually a fraction of £499). The foundational work (Wikidata, schema, citations) doesn't decay easily.
They'd have to do 14 days of the same work. By then you're ahead. Plus, the long-tail effects (Wikidata entry age, Reddit karma, news mentions, training-data inclusion) compound and don't reset for new entrants. First mover in your local AI visibility wins materially.
Before Day 1 work starts, full refund. Between Days 1 and 5, pro-rata refund minus completed deliverables (we'll quote honestly). After Day 5, the bulk of the work is done so no refund applies, but the Day 14 money-back guarantee still kicks in if the score doesn't move.
Method & ethics
Everything we do is publicly documented and platform-approved. No keyword stuffing, no link buying, no content automation, no Reddit spam, no fake reviews, no PBNs. Net effect on Google is positive (better schema and citations help both). The checklist has an explicit 'What NOT to do' section.
Most local SEO targets Google Maps and Yell. AI search engines read different sources: Bing's index (powers ChatGPT Browse), Wikidata (powers Knowledge Graph and most LLM training), Reddit (heavily weighted by Perplexity), Common Crawl (LLM training), and structured-data sameAs entity graphs. Our methodology covers those. Local SEO mostly doesn't.
For the £99 checklist, no, you do everything yourself. For the £499 service, we need: Google Business Profile editor invite, a way to add a JSON-LD snippet to your site (your developer's email or temporary CMS access), and your domain for citation cleanup. We sign an NDA on request and revoke access on Day 14.
Every workbook is generated live from YOUR audit data. Different business equals different content (different competitors named, different services tested, different review counts, different schema). Run the free audit twice with different business names and download both workbooks if you want to see the diff.
Logistics
It downloads automatically the moment Stripe confirms payment. You also get an email receipt with a 24-hour re-download link. Want the workbook as a Google Sheet instead of XLSX? Email us, we'll share it.
Highest-leverage first step then. The free audit accepts manual business-name input, and the workbook walks you through claiming a Google Business Profile as Step 1. If you genuinely don't yet have a verified business identity anywhere online, email us before paying. We'll likely refuse the £499 engagement until you have basic GBP set up.
Security & data
Free audit data (business name, audit results, optional email) is stored server-side for 24 hours so Stripe can deliver the right workbook after payment. After 24 hours, deleted permanently. Paying customer records are retained for 6 years per UK HMRC requirements (7 in the US). We do not sell or share data. Full details on /privacy.
We're UK-based, GDPR compliant. Lawful basis for data retention is legitimate interest (delivering the service you paid for) and legal obligation (tax record-keeping). You can request data export or deletion any time by emailing team@askedaudits.com, subject to our tax-record retention obligations.
